A former President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has made his aim for run for president in the 2023 general decisions .
Saraki made his aim during his visit to the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, on Tuesday, in Makurdi, whom he called a decent party man under the Peoples Democratic Party.
According by the report, Saraki was in Makurdi with former Governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada, former National Chairman of the PDP, Kawu Baraje, Senator Suleiman Adokwe and the Chairman of Council, Saraki for President Campaign, Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher.
“A political group that can’t coordinate it’s affairs should not be driving this country. A party that has coordinated its illicit relationships is prepared to lead the nation and that is the PDP, Saraki is said to have expressed.
Ortom, then again, expressed that the PDP was on a rescue mission to save Nigeria from the current All Progressives Congress government.
He also noticed that Saraki was the first from the North Central zone to proclaim his interest in running for president.
The former Governor of Kwara State additionally expressed, through his Twitter handle, that he was prepared to work with the party partners in the North Central region while complimenting them for the warm gathering.
He wrote, I express gratitude toward Governor Ortom and all our party stakeholders and supporters in the state for the warm reception, and I anticipate working with them to foster the growth and the development of our party and the country.
