Many burnt to death as two busses clash in Ondo

Many individuals were on Friday dreaded dead and others consumed to the point of being unrecognizable while five others supported shifting levels of wounds in an awful car crash on the Ore-Okitipupa hub of Ondo State.

The mishap which brought about a fiery blaze happened because of a head-on crash including a white Toyota Coaster transport and a white Ford J5 transport.

An onlooker said the Coaster transport travelers were accepted to be coming from a capacity and were getting back to Akure.

He said no less than 10 individuals kicked the bucket in the mishap, adding that the J5 transport which was stacked with tanks of neighborhood gin and the Coaster transport had a head-on impact while they were attempting to move a terrible part of the street.

The neighborhood gin in the J5 transport was said to have supported the fire which later seethed after the head-on crash with the mishap causing traffic gridlock for over one hour at the pivot.

Sikiru Alonge, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Unit Commander, Ore Unit Command, said the quantity of dead bodies couldn’t be affirmed.

He said that five individuals who supported shifting levels of wounds were safeguarded from the mishap and had been taken to the State Specialist Hospital, Okitipupa and Prima Hospital in Ore for appropriate consideration.

Mr Alonge said that joint endeavors by the FRSC, Nigerian Police and Army assisted with subduing the fire, clear the trash and empty the consumed bodies from the mishap site.

The FRSC supervisor encouraged drivers and other street clients to consistently forgo over-speeding on the parkway to turn away avoidable street mishaps.
