Kwara PDP Youth Wing commends Saraki for youth and women inclusiveness in leadership

The Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party Youth Wing, has commended their National Leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for creating an enabling environment for youth and women to participate in the leadership process.

The coordinator Kwara PDP Youth Wing, Comrade Nurudeen Muhammed gave the commendation while having a press briefing with journalists in Ilorin on Saraki’ s fulfillment of promise in the recently concluded PDP Ward Congresses across the 193 political wards in Kwara State.

While observing the outcome of the last weekend PDP ward congresses in Kwara State, Nurudeen clarified that, its reflected the promised 30% youth and women in the party leadership, saying that “this remained first of it kind and is very unprecedented”.

“There can never be better time for this than now that Kwarans look up to the PDP for better deal. We sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Dr, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for keeping faith with the yearning and aspiration of Kwarans, who truly want and deserve better than what they are currently witnessing” the statement reads.

Nurudeen, however, reads to acknowledged the charismatic leadership of state executive committee led by Engr Kola Shittu in managing people, power and politics amidst numerous interests.

He also said that, the Kwara PDP Youth Wing shall in coming days present letter of commendation to the national leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki through the State party leadership, while certificate of credence will be presented to the State’s party chairman, Engr. Kola Shittu.

Engr Kola Shittu while receiving a copy of letter for the 8th National Assembly Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki at mandate office in Ilorin, commended the youths, charged them to continue synergizing eligible voters and supporters using the e-registration platform.

Also present at the press briefing includes, the PDP State Publicity Secretary, Mr Tunde Ashaolu, former PDP State Woman Leader in Kwara, Hajia Sarat Adebayo Ibrahim, journalists, members of the Youth Wing and others.
