PDP Names Senator Rafiu Member of National Convention Organizing Committee

Former Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, has appreciated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria , PDP under the National Leadership of Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON, for finding him worthy of appointment into the National Convention Organizing Committee of the party.

The national secretariat of the party had earlier announced the appointment of the former lawmaker, as member of her National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) for the Party’s 2021 Special National Convention.

This was contained in a letter jointly signed by the Acting National Chairman of the Party, Elder Yemi Akinwonmi and the National Secretary, Sen. Ibrahim Umaru Tsauri. They described the Kwara South lawmaker, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, as a devoted, committed and loyal party man who has redendered selfless services to the development of the party at different levels.

According to the letter, the PDP has scheduled her Special National Convention to hold in Abuja, on Saturday 30th – Sunday 31st October, 2021.

“Your nomination was based on your long standing loyalty, devotion, and selfless service to our Great Party. It is hoped, therefore, that your contribution to the overall success of the assignment of the committee will justify the confidence reposed in you by the Leadership of our Great Party”, the party said.

Reacting after his inauguration at the Party National Secretariat, Abuja today, Senator Rafiu was full of gratitude to the Party Leadership for counting him worthy in the process of developing the Great Party.

He, therefore, promised to work round the clock with other members of the committee to ensure a successful outing for PDP in this Special National Convention.
