Meet 22-Year-Old Namibia’s Youngest Member Of Parliament, An Education Advocate & Youth Activist

Patience Masua was appointed Member of Parliament by President Hage Geingob in April 2021 following the resignation of Defence Minister Vilho becoming Namibia’s youngest MP.

She previously served as the Secretary General of Namibia National Students Organization (NANSO) and as Speaker of Student Parliament of the UNAM SRC.

Hon. Masua completed her high school at Delta Secondary School Windhoek where she served as Deputy Head Girl in the Learners Representative Council.

She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Namibia (UNAM).

She is currently the Namibian Country Director of the Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYOF).
