The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, has dared the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, by leading protesters to the Kaduna State Government House, on Tuesday.
Wabba who is currently leading members of the union in the protest, was at the early hours of today declared wanted by El-Rufai.
El-Rufai, had claimed that the NLC President and other union leaders were in hiding over alleged economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure in his state.
The Governor in a tweet, placed an undisclosed reward for information on their whereabout.
He said, “Ayuba Wabba and others of NLC Headquarters declared wanted for economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act.
“Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to @MOJKaduna. KDSG. There will be a handsome reward.”
Recall, NLC had on Monday insisted that there was no going back on its five-day strike action which began on Monday.
The strike action, which followed the condemnation of the decision of the State Government to layoff thousands of civil servants, by the President of the Congress, Ayuba Wabba, had paralysed major activities in the state as schools, water, banks, hospitals, electricity, rail and air services were shut down.
